Chumsak Nararatwong received his BA from Ramkhamhaeng University, MA in Social Development Administration and in Social Analysis and Planning from the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) and is currently studying for a PhD in Sustainable Development at Thaksin University in southern Thailand. Chumsak is the founder of the Samesouls group, organizing youth camps to support reading, writing and photography. He has worked for a range of research projects, on behalf of the Social Development Association Thailand, the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), the Office of the Permanent Secretary, the Ministry of Culture and Rajamangala University of Technology.
Chumsak is also a photographer and a writer, having written more than 20 volumes covering historical nonfiction, biographies, travel notes, essays and articles, as well as being the editor of over 100 books.
